These are the strangest of times, and throughout the COVID-19 pandemic we have been counting our blessings that our industry is currently thriving with so many people staying home and making the time to do up their gardens. Now we are turning our thoughts to how we can help restaurants, bars, hotels and shops get set up for what might be ‘the new normal’ of social distancing and get back to business.
This week, our project managers have been busy in the design studio with some interesting commercial projects and concepts to help businesses get back on their feet, and we wanted to offer you some inspiration for ways that can help.
Create Partitions and Screens
Section off an outdoor seating area with trellis or create a walkway with contemporary slatted panels. You can paint it in your brand colours for a long-lasting finish and these screens can also be a great place to display signs:
Below is a bespoke wooden trellis design for the outside area of a leading hotel in London that we have been working on in the studio this week:
Use planters to mark out areas
Or even use them to make a seating area as per these amazing mobile planter benches in the Duke of York Square in Chelsea:
Pergolas for protection from the elements
Invest in a wooden pergola to provide protection for staff, customers and products from the elements.
We can also help with bespoke outdoor buildings for restaurants who need more covered space.
Cover up unsightly areas in outdoor spaces
Wheelie bin stores, air conditioning covers and decorative trellis will help to make outdoor dining areas look as good as possible.
And remember, if it involves timber, and goes outside, we can probably help with custom made solutions and high-quality paint finished to add an elegant, attractive look to your outdoor spaces. Do get in touch with the team today to discuss your project.
