The garden has an elegant combination of wildflower style planting with a traditional styled boundary, bringing the entire space into function as part of the garden space.

I really like Butter Wakefield’s planters with long stemmed flowers. The clever use of bronze for the ironmongery and fixtures also warms the scheme.

Photography:  Throughout its development last year, the garden was photographed by Eleanor Walpole who took the pictures in this case study (except the picture of the gate).

Awards: The garden is the principal winner for BALI award for Domestic Garden Construction between £100k-£250k. It is also nominated for the Society of Garden Designers People’s Choice Awards, which will be announced on 31st January.
