At this established property in the Amersham area, these custom designed garden gates, matched with an attractive large garden storage room, created a stylish entrance to the property while making great use of the space around it.
What did the client want featured in the garden?
Working with our Project Manager, James Gee, and our joinery craftsmen and installation team, the client had an idea for some decorative gates to create a more secure and attractive entrance to the garden. They also wanted to replace an existing structure to compliment the gates, while providing a significant area of additional garden storage space.
What did we do to help the success of this project?
We first set out an initial design with an estimate for the client based on the ideas they pitched to us. A site survey was carried out to accurately measure for the gate and the space available for the new storage structure. After taking measurements, we worked closely with the client on style and colour ideas for the joinery which then helped finalise the quotation based on the agreed design.
Were there any challenges to overcome in this project?
The main challenges to overcome in this project was the replacement of an existing storage unit, like-for-like, which included a large shingle roof with a cut-out for a chimney extraction.
What bespoke products were featured in the finished design?
The project featured custom style double gates with stainless steel port holes to create a striking entrance to the garden; we even created a special cut out in the gate for the local hedgehogs to get through! Along with the gate the design featured a bespoke storage unit with a cedar shingle roof which replaced an existing unit.
What were you most proud of in the design?
The style of the gates are unique and impressive which really does create an attractive entrance to a beautiful garden.
